On Monday September 23rd, Hard Shine brings you the only Monday night Swing Dance Event on the West Side at Harvelle’s in Santa Monica. A $5 donation to the Raffia School of Music for Children gets you into the gig and a free dance lesson with professional instructors Barbara Yeh and David Stockin.(https://www.facebook.com/barbaraanddaviddance/) They specialize in swing dance with smooth Lindy Hops and dips! Hard Shine will bring its mix of retro boogie blues originals and jump covers to dance party. Doors open at 7, free dance lessons from 7:15 to 7:45, music starts at 7:45 and goes until 9. Following Hard Shine, CC Thomas, Diana Ross' musical director, hosts the Monday Night Jam Session. CC brings together an eclectic group of professional musicians to jam from 9 until closing. Each line-up and show is unique. You never know who will be there, but you can count on a great show and having a great time.
