Hard Shine is back performing live . . . we’re taking our music on the road playing a show in Big Bear Lake at Whisky Dave’s on Saturday March 25th from 9 to 12:30. Hard Shine will pack the night with our Blues-Infused, action-packed, female-fronted quartet bringing modern sensibilities to the vintage sounds of rockabilly and swing. Hard Shine emphasizes our Jump and Hot Blues-based original songs with unique covers of rock and blues classics sprinkled in. Downbeat is at 9, but if you’re there before 8:30 $5 gets you in, after that, $10 gets you in the door for all the music, food and drink you can handle @ 6700’. With Hard Shine, it's not just music, it's a show! Be sure to bring your dancing shoes, as there is a dance area in front of the stage . . . but don’t stay too late . . . the legend of Whiskey Dave’s includes a ghost or two from the prohibition era. Bar tenders closing the establishment have had glasses sliding down the bar, falling from shelves, pool balls released from the carriage and other unexplained events . . . the bar’s namesake is buried in a whiskey casket under the bar . . . but his spirit is not extinguished. So come on up to Big Bear/Whiskey Dave’s enjoy the music, get some food, dance a little, and raise your glass in a toast to the man whose hell raising spirit lives on. Thank you for supporting live music!
