Crane's is an underground bar, hidden behind a bank vault door, next to the Peking Tavern. It's a cozy-yet-not-quite-dark speakeasy with great music (us!!) and a huge selection of drinks. After moseying down the stairs, turning right (past the vault door), and parting the heavy red velvet curtains, you'll be greeted with reasonably priced beverages, a hip and friendly staff, and the driving, foot pounding jump blues of Hard Shine. What's not to love! The bar is underground so no cell service . . . everyone actually interacts instead of staring at their cell like a zombie, a truly odd but exhilarating experience these days.
